COVID-19: Zero New Case; Tally Remains 301

AKP Phnom Penh, November 12, 2020 —

There is no new case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) reported in Cambodia this morning, the tally thus remains at 301, said the Ministry of Health in a press release.

The 301 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Kingdom include 187 Cambodians, 45 French, 18 Chinese, 13 Malaysians, 9 Indonesians, 8 Americans, 6 British, 3 Vietnamese, 3 Canadians, 3 Indians, 2 Hungarians, 1 Belgian, 1 Kazakhstani, 1 Polish, and 1 Pakistani.

At the same time, no new recovered patients were recorded. Therefore, the total number of cured cases remains at 288 or 95.68 percent of the confirmed cases.

Among the 13 remaining active cases at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital, Phnom Penh, four are those who came in contact with the Nov. 3 Event (visit to Cambodia by infected Hungarian foreign minister).

Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
