Photos of the Week: Kampong Kdei Bridge, a Longest Ancient Bridge in Angkorian Period

Kampong Kdei Bridge or Prapteus Bridge is one of the longest ancient bridges in Cambodia during the Angkorian period. The bridge of 86 metres long, 16 metres wide and 11 metres high was built in the 12th century during the reign of Jayavarman VII. It is made of laterite and sandstone and composed of 21 spans.
Kampong Kdei Bridge is located near Kampong Kdei Market in Kampong Kdei commune, Chi Kreng district, Siem Reap province.
