COVID-19: Neither New Positive Nor New Cured Case Reported in Cambodia
AKP Phnom Penh, October 23, 2020 —
There is neither new positive nor recovered case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) reported in Cambodia as of this morning, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.
The total confirmed cases in the Kingdom thus remains at 286. They include 178 Cambodians, 43 French, 18 Chinese, 13 Malaysians, 9 Indonesians, 7 Americans, 6 British, 3 Vietnamese, 3 Canadians, 1 Belgian, 2 Indians, 1 Kazakhstani, 1 Hungarian, and 1 Polish.
Of them, 280 or 97.90 percent have been successfully recovered. The six remaining active cases are an Indonesian, three Cambodians, a French and a Polish. They all have been being hospitalised at Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh.
Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
