13 More Patients of COVID-19 Recovered
AKP Phnom Penh, August 19, 2020 —
Cambodia’s Ministry of Health this morning announced 13 new recovered cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
According to the ministry’s press release, of the 13 cured patients, six are Cambodians returning home from Russia and the U.S., and the rest are Chinese nationals from the Philippines.
The total number of recovered cases in Cambodia thus rose to 251 or 91.94 percent of the total cases.
Meanwhile, no new positive case of COVID-19 was detected, therefore the tally remains at 273, including 174 Cambodians, 40 French, 17 Chinese, 13 Malaysians, 8 Indonesians, 7 Americans, 5 British, 3 Vietnamese, 3 Canadians, 1 Belgian, 1 Indian, and 1 Kazakhstani.
Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has so far hit 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
