Meeting between the Minister of Civil Services Cambodia and the Australian Ambassador to Cambodia contribute to strengthening the bilateral relationship between the two governments

During a working meeting with H.E Mr. Pablo Kang, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia on July 10, 2020 at the Ministry, H.E Prum Sokha, Minister of Civil Services Cambodia, expressed his thank to the Australian Government for its continued support for the Cambodian people in maintaining peace and national development.

On that occasion, the Australian Ambassador to Cambodia also pointed to the importance of further cooperation between the two sides in the public sector, which serves the current key programs of the Royal Government, such as decentralization reform of women’s leadership and social accountability.

In response, the Minister of Civil Services Cambodia expressed his support for the Australian Government’s commitment to further cooperation in Cambodia’s public sector education and training human resources, rural development and social support that contribute to the process of identification of vulnerable families affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

The two sides also agreed to review the possibility of further public sector cooperation in order to contribute to strengthening mutually beneficial relations and cooperation for both governments and people of the two countries, Cambodia and Australia.
