Cambodia, Japan to Conduct Joint Research and Training on AI

AKP Phnom Penh, July 07, 2020 —

Cambodia and Japan have studied the possibility to increase their cooperation in conducting joint research, vocational training and skill training on robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) at the Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC) in the near future.

The possibility was discussed in a meeting here yesterday afternoon via videoconference between H.E. Sok Touch, President of RAC, and the management of Tokyo-based Qibi Tech Co., Ltd.

The initiative will be supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), according to RAC’s website.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is part of computer science that can create intelligent machines or robots which can work and respond to demands as human beings. The core of AI is computer coding to solve challenges. AI has now become an integral part of the technology industry.
