AKP Phnom Penh, June 30, 2020 —

The update was shared by H.E. Mrs. Or Vandine, Secretary of State and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health during a signing event of a Memorandum of Understanding between the ministry and Metfone here yesterday.

The effort will open up Cambodia’s opportunity to harness the technology ecosystem to better promote the country’s public health service.

The technology, she continued, will allow more efficient communication between patients and doctors and contribute to COVID-19 containment efforts within the 25 capital and provinces of Cambodia.

The communication can be made possible through phone call, video conference and beyond, however, more details of the cooperation is yet to be shared.
