COVID-19: PM Proud of Cambodia’s Health Screening Efforts

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has expressed his pride of the Kingdom’s health screening measure in an effort to contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
“Even though Cambodia is not a developed country, we have done our best to strengthen the health screening of passengers in and out the country at all border checkpoints, both at land borders and the airports by sticking to the instructions of the Ministry of Health,” wrote the Premier on his Facebook page this morning.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen continued that COVID-19 remains the most dangerous pandemic and no drugs have been proven to treat this disease yet. Today, he pointed out, the World Health Organisation reported over 9.47 million confirmed cases around the world, including 484,249 deaths.
The Premier re-appealed to his compatriots to continue taking care of their health by maintaining good personal hygiene and following the preventive measures of the Ministry of Health in order to avoid COVID-19 and other transmitted diseases.
