Another New COVID-19 Case Reported; Tally 130
AKP Phnom Penh, June 23, 2020 —
Cambodia has reported another new case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number to 130, pointed out the Ministry of Health in a press release made public this morning.
The 130th case is a Cambodia-American, aged 66 years old living in the U.S. He arrived in Phnom Penh on June 21. He was now admitted to the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital.
The total 130 confirmed cases in the Kingdom include 59 Cambodians, 40 French, 13 Malaysians, 5 British, 3 Chinese, 3 Vietnamese, 2 Americans, 2 Indonesians, 2 Canadians, and one Belgian. Of them, 127 or 97.69 percent have been cured successfully.
Since the first case reported in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has so far hit 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
