Health Ministry: Cambodia has spent more than US$ 7 million to buy equipment of the- COVID-19

Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health said that Cambodia now has been spending more than US$7 million to buy equipment to fight against the COVID0-19 and nearly US$6 ​million is in Ministry of Health’s bank accounts, said Secretary of State, H.E Mrs Youk Sambath.

while addressing a Press Conference on “Update of COVID-19 on Monday morning,  H.E Mrs Youk Sambath said that the funds received from high-ranking leaders and civil servants contributing some amount of their monthly pay so far totaled about US$ 10 million.

She also added that the materials provided by the Ministry of Health are distributed daily to organizations and checkpoints throughout the Kingdom’s 25 provinces, all the materials provided by the Ministry of Health are distributed free of charge on Saturdays and Sundays.

As of Tuesday morning, there have been no new cases of COVID-19 infection, the Kingdom has recorded in total 122 COVID-19 confirmed cases, 121 recovered in total, according to the Ministry of Health’s news release.
