One More Patient Recover from COVID-19
AKP Phnom Penh, May 12, 2020 —
Another patient have recovered from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total cured cases to 121, the Ministry of Health said in a press release issued this morning.
According to the same source, the new recovered case is a 75-year-old Cambodian man living in Kampong Thralach district, Kampong Chhnang province. He was among the two remaining active cases who were transferred to Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh on May 8.
The other active case is a Cambodian woman from Banteay Meanchey province, it pointed out.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health announced zero new case of COVID-19 for one month in a row, the tally thus remains at 122. They are 51 Cambodians, 40 French, 13 Malaysians, 5 British, 3 Chinese, 3 Vietnamese, 2 Americans, 2 Indonesians, 2 Canadians, and one Belgian. Most of the cases are imported ones.
Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has so far hit 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
