President of Senate meets with the Ambassador of Timor-Leste

Samdech Say Chhum, President of the Senate of Cambodia met with H.E. Ermenegildo “Kupa” Lopes, the Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Cambodia on Wednesday.
Samdech Say Chhum said that Timor-Leste will strive to promote greater trade, economic, investment and tourism exchanges for the benefit of both countries, and highly appreciated the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
The senate president continued to say that the relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Timor-Leste were improved by the exchange of visits by senior officials of the two countries and supporting each other in international cooperation frameworks, especially within the UN framework.
H.E. Ermenegildo “Kupa” Lopes said that Timor-Leste would work to broaden the friendship, cooperation and push for greater trade, economic, investment and tourism for the benefit of both countries.
The Timor-Leste ambassador also expressed his delight at the good relations and cooperation between the two governments and appreciated Cambodia’s progress.
