Over 2 Tons of Medical Supplies from China to Assist Cambodia in Fight against COVID-19

AKP Phnom Penh, April 01, 2020 —

The People’s Liberation Army of China has donated medical supplies to the Cambodian Ministry of National Defence to support the Kingdom’s efforts in combating the new coronavirus (COVID-19).

More than two tons of medical supplies arrived at Phnom Penh International Airport this morning.

Gen. Sum Samnang, Director General of Logistics and Finance at the Ministry of National Defence, thanked the Chinese side for the humanitarian donation, believing that Cambodia will win the war against the COVID-19.

On Mar. 24, the Chinese Ministry of National Defence dispatched four medical doctors and experts along with some medical supplies to Cambodia to provide training on COVID-19 prevention and treatment to medical trainers of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.
