Ministry Launches E-learning as Schools Closed Following COVID-19 Concern
AKP Phnom Penh, March 17, 2020 —
Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has made possible e-learning access for students from grades 9 to 12, according to the ministry’s recent release.
The effort is vitally responsive to the emerging demand, while schools are on early vacation due to fear of COVID-19 spread.
Covering six key subjects – Mathematics, History, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Khmer Study – the e-learning access allows student to do self-study online.
The e-learning can be accessed at www.youtube.com/moeys, www.facebook.com/moeys.gov.kh, and www.elearning.moeys.gov.kh.
To contribute with the Royal Government and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in this difficult circumstance, the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) yesterday announced its cooperation with E-School Cambodia in launching free online learning system for students from Grade 1 to 12.
The subjects available in the App: E-School Cambodia include Mathematics, Khmer, and English for Grades 1-6; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Khmer, and English for Grades 7-9; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Khmer Literature, and English for Grades 10-11; and Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Khmer Language, Biology, Khmer Literature, and English for Grade 12.
