Morocco and France invite Cambodia to attend a conference on peacekeeping of Francophonie’s region in April

The governments of Morocco and France sent a joint invitation letter to the Royal Government of Cambodia to attend a conference of Francophonie on Maintaining Peace in the Region to be held in April 2020. The invitation was delivered to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, H.E Prak Sokhonn, by the Ambassador of Morocco to Cambodia, H.E Abdelilah EL HOUSNI on Tuesday at the Ministry’s office.
Mr Ney Sam Ol, director-general of the General Department of Europe, U-S and Africa-Middle East, told reporters that Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhon received the invitation letter to attend the conference from the ambassador.
At the meeting, the ambassador of the dominantly-Muslim country lauded Cambodia’s policy of religious harmonizing. He said that the model that Cambodia used has to be presented at the conference.
Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn thanks the invitation of Morocco and French Governments for the invitation and said he was delighted to join the event.
