Cambodia -China agree to enhance drug control cooperation between the two countries

Gen. Meas Virith, Secretary-general of the National Authority for Combating Drugs said that Cambodia and China agreed to enhance drug control cooperation between the two countries, according to Facebook post of the General Secretariat of the National Authority for Combating Drugs on Wednesday.
Speaking at the 8th Cambodia-China bilateral meeting on Drug Control Cooperation in Changsha and Hunan Provinces on December 24, 2019, Gen. Meas Virith said the meeting is an annual turnaround meeting focusing on the important issues such as: sharing information on mutual drugs between the two countries, cooperation in law enforcement and supporting training and materials.
For his part, Mr.Yang Fengrui, Chairman of Drug Control Foundationof the Chinese National Drug Control Commission provided preliminary drug detecting equipment worth 500,000 Yuan to Cambodia.
Cambodia will host the 9th Cambodia-China Senior Officials’ Meeting in 2020.
