Cambodia’s Export Volume Reaches US$10.8 Billion in First Ten Months

Cambodia has exported US$10.8 billion worth of goods in the first ten months of this year, a 6 percent increase compared to the same period last year, pointed out the Ministry of Commerce in a report released at its annual meeting on Dec. 18.
Figures from Ministry of Commerce showed that the main products Cambodia exported to foreign markets are garment, textile, footwear, and milled rice.
From January to October, Cambodia generated some US$6,400 million, US$40 million, and US$905 million from the export of garment, textile, and footwear products, respectively, as well as US$286 million from milled rice and US$174 million from other products.
The exports have been made under preferential trade scheme and foreign trade agreements, the report stated.
