PM Hun Sen Congratulates Cambodia’s Victory in Taekwondo at 30th SEA Games

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has extended congratulations to Sorn Seavmey, Cambodian taekwondo heroine, after she won a gold medal at the final this evening, during the 30th SEA Games in the Philippines.

“I would like to praise and congratulate Cambodian taekwondo athlete Sorn Seavmey for earning earlier a gold medal at the SEA Games 2019 after defeating her counterpart from the host country,” wrote the Premier on his official Facebook page.

Sorn Seavmey defended successfully her gold medal obtained during the 29th SEA Games in Malaysia in 2017, he added.

According to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, as of this evening, Cambodia got in total 35 medals, of which three gold, six silver and 26 bronze.
