Cambodian Petanque Players Receive Praise from PM Hun Sen

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has extended his congratulations to Cambodian petanque players who got a gold medal at the 30th SEA Games in the Philippines.
“Congratulation to Cambodian petanque players who won a gold medal at the SEA Games 2019 after defeating their Malaysian counterparts 13-4,“ said the Premier in a new message posted on his official Facebook page.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also wished the Cambodian athletes more success in other tournaments.
Cambodia this afternoon earned its second gold medal, in a petanque tournament, at the 30th SEA Games.
Cambodian petanque athletes – Sreang Sorakhim, Duong Dina and Un Yary – got the gold medal after winning against their Malalysian counterparts in the 3-3 (women) category.
The Kingdom got its first gold medal on Dec. 2 in Arnis event.
As of now, Cambodia won in total 22 medals – two gold, three silver and 17 bronze in Hoop Takraw, Arnis and Petanque events.
