Senate President receives courtesy call (EU) Ambassador to Cambodia

Samdech Vibol Pheakdei Say Chhum , President of Senate on Tuesday received a courtesy call made by European Union (EU) Ambassador to Cambodia, Mrs.Carmen Moreno. Mrs. Carmen Moreno pledged to further
encourage European investors to invest in Cambodia.
She profoundly thanked Senate President for spending valuable time to allow her to pay courtesy calls and also highly appreciated the close relationship and cooperation between the Royal Government, the
National Assembly and the Senate and the European.
She said she was delighted to see Cambodia’s economy grew rapidly. Cambodia will achieve its vision of building Cambodia into an upper middle income country by 2030 and a high income one by 2050, said Mrs. Carmen Moreno. Samdech Say Chhum congratulated and welcomed her
appointment as EU Ambassador to Cambodia. Through her diplomatic mission in the Kingdom, the Senate President hopes that she will further improve relations and cooperation in all domains between Cambodia and the EU for the greater benefit of the people of Cambodia and the people of the EU countries.
Cambodia and the European Union established the diplomatic relations on January 1st, 1994. Since the founding of diplomatic relations, friendship and cooperation have been continuously strengthened.
