Royal Academy of Cambodia Inaugurates a New Building
AKP Phnom Penh, November 21, 2019 —
Indra Devi, a US$1.5 million new building of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, was put into use this morning to serve the nation’s supreme interest.
This inauguration ceremony took place along with the celebration of the 20th founding anniversary of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, under the presidency of Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.
Speaking on the occasion, the Premier highly valued the multi-purpose building’s presence, saying that it is a new achievement of the Royal Government of Cambodia for local intellectuals’ training.
According to Dr. Sok Touch, Chairman of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, the three-floor building of 40 metre long and 17 metre wide will be used as a training place for Master’s degree programme, foreign language translation centre, a research centre, and a workshop and conference hall.
