Cambodian King receives a courtesy call from Japanese Prime Minister

RNK, Phnom Penh, Oct, 24th, 2019-

Japanese Prime Minister, H.E Zinzo Abe informed His Majesty the King of Cambodia, Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni that the Japanese Government strongly supported the development of Cambodia and always stand with Cambodia.

The Japanese Prime Minister made the remarks, while paying a courtesy call on His Majesty the King of Cambodia on Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan.

According to the Royal Palace ‘s Facebook post, the Japanese Prime Minister spoke of the strategic partnership between Japan and Cambodia since 2013. The Prime Minister Abe said that Japan has always stood

with Cambodia on democratic development and would continue to fully support the country’s development.

The Japanese Prime Minister also said that Japan has been supporting the conservation of Angkor for many years and will continue to support cultural exchanges and enhance bilateral ties.

His Majesty the King of Cambodia said that he had been honored to attend the historical ceremony of the enthronement of the emperor of Japan.

The Cambodian King also expressed his appreciation for Japan’s support for the development of Cambodia over the years and the good friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries.

His Majesty the King of Cambodia,left for Japan to attend the Coronation Ceremony of His Majesty Naruhito as the Emperor of Japan held on Oct. 22. His Majesty the King is staying in Japan from Oct. 21st to 24, 2019.
