Cambodian Prime Minister holds talk with President of the Senate of the Czech Republic

Cambodian Prime Minister, Sadech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen held a bilateral meeting with H.E Jaroslav Kubera, President of the Senate of the Czech Republic at Senate House in Prague city on Monday.
At the meeting, the two sides wished for the exchange of visits of professional commissions between the two countries’ Senate and to support each other in the framework of international cooperation, especially in the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and other forums. Both leaders also discussed works relevant to two national assemblies of both countries by looking at a proposal to establish a Cambodian-Czech National Assembly friendship group in order to exchange visits of professional commissions between the two countries’ Assembly.
The Cambodian Premier expressed his profound thanks to the leaders of the Senate, the Government and the people of the Czech Republic for their warm welcome and hospitality during his stay in Prague.
Samdech Prime Minister Hun Sen on behalf of Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia invited the President of the Czech Republic for an official visit to Cambodia, and the invitation was accepted by the President of the Senate. Also on behalf of National Assembly President Samdech Heng Samrin, Samdech Prime Minister Hun Sen invited H.E Jaroslav Kubera to attend the 11th Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership (ASEM) Meeting in Cambodia in 2020.
