Youths from Asian Regional Countries Attending ASEP in Cambodia
AKP Phnom Penh, August 5, 2019—
University students from Asian regional countries have attended the 5thAsian Students Environment Platform (ASEP) hosted by Cambodia, according to local media report.
Taking place from August 1 to 6, the forum themed “Sustainable Peace Building” brought together some 100 Asian students from Cambodia, South Korea, China, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines and Myanmar.
Participating students visited key sites in Phnom Penh capital and Siem Reap province to learn about Cambodia’s environment and culture.
As highlighted in the source, the event is a good opportunity for Asian youths to further strengthen cooperation and exchange environment view and knowledge to further improve the field regionally and globally.
Annually organised by AEON Environmental Foundation, ASEP was established in 2012 to raise awareness of environment as well as to encourage Asian youths to love and protect good environment for human’s welfare and landscapes in the world.
