Cambodian and Lao NAs Speak Highly of Both Countries’ Cooperation

Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia, held a bilateral talk with his Lao counterpart H.E. Ms. Pany Yathotou, in Vientiane, Laos this morning.
According to a news release of the Cambodian NA General Secretariat, the meeting touched upon various issues in the fields of economy, trade, education, social affairs for the mutual interest.
The two NA presidents highly valued the traditional ties of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries’ legislative and executive bodies.
They pledged to push the two governments to implement effectively and comprehensively the agreements already signed.
They also recalled the good cooperation and experience exchange between both NAs as well as their mutual support at inter-parliamentary forums and their agreements to foster their bilateral cooperation.
Samdech Heng Samrin and his spouse arrived in Vientiane yesterday for a three-day official and friendly visit until June 1.
