Cambodia, China To Sign Agreement on Cooperation on Projects of Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund Tomorrow
AKP Phnom Penh, February 13, 2019 —
The Kingdom of Cambodia and the People’s Republic of China will sign the Agreement on the Cooperation on Projects of the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund in Phnom Penh tomorrow morning.
H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wentian will represent their respective governments to sign the agreement.
Nineteen (19) Cambodian Projects were approved at the fourth Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR, on Dec. 16-17, 2018, with a total budget of US$7,664,556.30 mostly covering activities related to capacity-building, education, research and exchange programmes.
