H.E. Ms. Khuon Sudary: Presence of Mexican Delegation in APPF-27 Reflects Good Relation between Latin America and Asia-Pacific

Attendance in the 27th APPF of the United Mexican States delegation clearly reflects a close bond as the connecting bridge between Latin America and Asia-Pacific.


Second Vice President of the National Assembly of Cambodia and Chairperson of Women Parliamentarians Caucus H.E. Ms. Khuon Sudary made the remarks while receiving a visiting Mexican delegation led by H.E. Ms. Cora Cecilia Pinedo Alonso, President of the Committee of Foreign Affairs Asia-Pacific-Africa, at Sokha Siem Reap Resort and Convention Centre, yesterday.


According to the APPF-27’s website, H.E. Ms. Khuon Sudary said that although the journey from United Mexican States to the Kingdom of Cambodia is far, in the heart of the two countries, Cambodia and the United Mexican States are still very close in term of a very good friendship.

H.E. Ms. Khuon Sudary appreciated and highly valued the United Mexican States’ determination to strengthen the relationship, friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries since 1992, growing more robust whether it is in the Asia-Pacific or bilateral framework. At the same time, she also thanked the Mexican delegation who actively participated in submitting the draft resolutions at the meeting of Women Parliamentarians.

For her part, H.E. Ms. Cora Cecilia Pinedo Alonso expressed her thanks to H.E. Ms. Khuon Sudary for taking precious time to meet her delegation and wished the APPF-27 to go smoothly with success and profound meaning.
