Cambodian Foreign Minister Meets Foreign Counterparts in Madrid

AKP Phnom Penh, December 16, 2019 —

Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held talks with some of foreign counterparts during his stay in Madrid, Spain yesterday.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFA-IC)’s news release, on the sidelines of the 14th ASEM Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (ASEM FMM14) in Madrid, in the afternoon of Dec. 15, 2019, H.E. Prak Sokhonn met with H.E. Motegi Toshimitsu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

In this meeting, both top diplomats exchanged views on the bilateral, regional and international issues of common interests.

On the same day, H.E. Prak Sokhonn also discussed with H.E. Josep Borrell Fontelles, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission. The details of the meeting were not released yet.

H.E. Prak Sokhonn departed here on Dec. 13 for the 14th ASEM Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (ASEM FMM14) from Dec. 15-16, 2019.
