Australia appreciates the Royal Government of Cambodia’s good cooperation in the fight against money laundering and child exploitation

H.E. PABLO KANG, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, praised Cambodia’s good cooperation, especially in the fight against money laundering, child exploitation, and cross-border crimes, according to the Facebook page of the Ministry of Justice.
During a meeting with H.E. Keut Rith, Minister of Justice on Tuesday this week, H.E. PABLO KANG expressed his appreciation for the good cooperation of the Royal Government of Cambodia, especially in the fight against money laundering, child exploitation, and transnational crimes, and also applauded the efforts of the Ministry of Justice in the campaign to solve the backlogs of cases in the capital-provincial courts.
H.E. Keut Rith also thanked the Australian Government for its contribution to almost all sectors in Cambodia through assistance in the areas of health, agriculture and technical assistance in the development of legal documents such as the law on mutual assistance in the criminal field.
At the same time, the Minister of Justice and the Australian Ambassador to Cambodia expressed their support for further strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation, focusing on human resource development, building a legal framework, crime prevention and other priority sectors.
