Cambodia ready to allocates more than US$ 11 million to fight AIDS

The Royal Government of Cambodia is ready to allocate more than US$ 11 million to continue the fight against HIV/AIDS to achieve the goal by 2050.
H.E Ieng Moly, President of the National AIDS Authority, said that the Royal Government plans to spend US$ 11 million over the next three years to respond to HIV/AIDS in the Kingdom.
Speaking at a seminar on Social Contracting for Civil Society Working in response to HIV /AIDS in Cambodia on August 3, 2020 at the Phnom Penh Hotel,
H.E Ieng Moly said that this funding is a strong goal in ending AIDS in Cambodia.
H.E Ieng Moly said that Cambodia still needs more international assistance, due to the crisis of COVID-19 epidemic.
He added that for more than three decades, Cambodia has relied on external funding to respond to HIV /AIDS.
