Cambodia, Timor-Leste to Foster Cooperation in Areas of Investment and Justice

The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste have voiced their support for the strengthening of their bilateral cooperation in the areas of justice and investment.
The agreement was made during the meeting here on Tuesday afternoon between Cambodian Minister of Justice H.E. Koeut Rith and H.E. Ermenegildo “Kupa” Lopes, Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Cambodia.
According to the Ministry of Justice, in the meeting, both sides shared information as well as experiences of the two countries, especially in relation to law enforcement and rehabilitation.
H.E. Ermenegildo “Kupa” Lopes spoke highly of the leadership of Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia for always supporting Timor-Leste’s request to be the 11th member of ASEAN.
H.E. Koeut Rith thanked the Timorese diplomat for his comments and expressed his positive outlook for the economic growth and future development of Timor-Leste.
