Cambodia will export mangoes to the Korean market in December

Cambodia will export mangoes to the South Korean market for the first time in December 2019.
Korean Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development, H.E Kim Hyeon-Soo announced the planned exports at a meeting with Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, H.E Veng Sakhon in Busan, the Republic of Kea on Monday.
According to Cambodian Agricultural Ministry’s Facebook, H.E Kim Hyeon-Soo said the Korean side has already approved the imports of mangoes from Cambodia to South Korea since October 29, 2019. So in December 2019, Cambodia will be able to export mangoes to Korean market.
The Cambodian Agriculture Minister also thanked the Korean side for the move.
The Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture helped farmers improve their farming knowledge and techniques. Cambodian mangoes have been exported to Thailand and Vietnam. So far, Mong Reththy Company has also exported some mangoes to the European market.
