PM Hun Sen Holds Gathering with Cambodian Athletes for 30th SEA Games in the Philippines

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has held a get-together and gave recommendations to an over 400-member sports delegation of Cambodia, before their departure for the 30th SEA Games in the Philippines.
At the gathering held at the Peace Palace this afternoon, Samdech Techo Hun Sen advised all the athletes to respect the rules of the games and not to use any banned substances.
As an athlete, losing or winning is normal, but the important thing is not to violate the rules of the tournaments, he underlined.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister also handed over all athletes and delegates some pocket money before their departure for the Philippines.
At the 30th SEA Games to take place from Nov. 30 to Dec. 11, 2019, the Cambodian athletes will compete in many sports events such as taekwondo, Khmer boxing, tennis, wrestling, beach volleyball, U22 football, basketball, swimming, gymnastics, table tennis, badminton, martial arts, golf, sailing, Karate, etc.
