Cambodia, Turkey to Sign Security Cooperation Agreement

AKP Phnom Penh, July 27, 2019 —

The Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey will reach an agreement on cooperation in the field of security.

The agreement will be signed during the visit of Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to Turkey from July 28 to Aug. 1, 2019, at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, according to a press release of the Cambodian Ministry of Interior.

During the forthcoming visit, it pointed out, Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng will hold a bilateral talk with H.E. Suleyman Soylu, Turkish Minister of Interior, and sign the above said agreement.

Besides, the Cambodian deputy prime minister will visit some law enforcement units under the Ministry of Interior of Turkey.
