The 3rd IPM Meeting attracts some 190 countries to participate in the 2020 Dubai World Expo

190 countries have confirmed their participation at the World’s Dubai Fair 2020, said Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of International Cooperation and Chairman of the UNDP’s 2020 Assembly of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

At the 3rd International Participation Meeting (IPM), which was held on November 26 and 27, 2018, Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy said that 20 countries have reached agreement to this day to take the location and size of the pavilion to showcase the potential of culture, tourism and innovation (Innovation) at the World Expo scheduled from day October 20, 2020 until April 10, 2021.

During that occasion, His Excellency Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, led the Cambodian delegation attending the meeting requested the Government of the United Arab Emirates to facilitate visas to Cambodian officials and private sector to attend the World Dubai Fair 2020 because of Cambodia doesn’t have embassy of the United Arab Emirates yet.

In response, Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy pledged to facilitate the process of issuing Visa entry to Cambodia and all participating countries via e-Visa, and accommodation both for short and long term. In particular, on the technical issues related to design and construction of the pavilion, the Minister proposed bilateral representatives to hold bilateral discussions with technical planning managers at the next meeting.

The 3rd IPM Meeting was attended by the heads of state, ministers, diplomats, and senior officials representing 180 countries in the world, and the topics discussed discussed on Pavilion Design, Pavilion Construction, Pavilion Operation and Management. In addition, the Meeting also discussed related projects and the process of the World Expo of Dubai World 2020.
