Cambodia Increasingly Attracting Foreign Investors

AKP Phnom Penh, November 12, 2018 —

Cambodia has increasingly become a popular destination for foreign investors from countries across the world.

The remark was made recently by Senior Minister H.E. Othsman Hassan in the 10th World Chinese Economic Forum (WCEF) in Malaysia.

In the event, H.E. Othsman Hassan highlighted that regular evaluations help boost rapid economic growth about 7 percent a year for over a decade.

He added that the Win-Win policy initiated by Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has brought about peace, political stability and favourable investment conditions attracting numerous foreign investors to the country.

Taking place on Nov. 9-10, the event was chaired by H.E. Mahathir Bin Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia with the participation of leaders, high-ranking officials, investors and honourable guests from 25 countries.

Themed “Joining ahead to Future for New Opportunity of World Economic Change”, the platform focused mainly on general situation of relations and collaboration in economy, trade, banking, technology, health, tourism, investment, and beyond.
