AIMF Appreciates Phnom Penh’s Rapid Development
AKP Phnom Penh, November 08, 2018 —
President of International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF) has appreciated Cambodia’s rapid development, especially the city of Phnom Penh.
The appreciation was shared with Phnom Penh Governor H.E. Khuong Sreng when leading his senior delegation to attend the 88th AIMF Standing Committee Meeting and the 38th AIMF General Assembly in Lille city of France.
From his end, H.E. Khuong Sreng thanked the AIMF senior delegate and spoke highly of good collaboration among AIMF’s member countries, especially in development of the association’s five-year strategic plan.
Happening from Nov. 5 to 7, the AIMF meetings that Cambodian delegation attended was chaired by H.E. Ms. Anne Hidalgo, Paris Major, AIMF President and French Minister of Sports.
The meeting, attended by mayors of AIMF’s member countries, focused mainly on sports and urban innovation and development.
The gathering has also approved updated list of AIMF members and discussed and endorsed various reports.
