Cambodian Students Earn 7% of French International Scholarship

AKP Phnom Penh, October 10, 2018 —

Among their peers globally, Cambodian youths in health science have earned 7 percent of the total 690 seats awarded by France under the country’s 2018 scholarship to foreign students.

The update was shared recently on the Facebook posts of Cambodia’s Ministry of Health.

The 7 percent or 48 students – 18 of them are female – will pursue their studies in twenty different disciplines in the European country.

In a recent farewell meeting organised for them, Health Minister H.E. Dr. Mam Bunheng and French Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Mrs. Eva Nguyen Binh expressed their appreciation of the students’ success.

Thanking the French government, H.E. Dr. Mam Bunheng also advised the scholarship winners to study hard and bring back their new knowledge and skills to contribute to further development of Cambodia.
