Over 4,200 Crimes along the Borders Repressed in First Nine Months

Cambodian competent authorities cracked down on more than 4,200 cases of crimes happening along its border areas in the first nine months of 2018.

The update was shared recently by spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defence H.E. Chhum Socheat with the local media.

Of the 4,233 criminal cases, to be exact, 2,054 happened along the border with Thailand, while 1,008 and 1,171 others were intervened respectively at the boundaries shared with Vietnam and Laos.

He underlined that the achievements demonstrate the hard work especially of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces in maintaining the country’s security and stability.
