AKP Phnom Penh, September 25, 2018—
Like other people across the country, local residents (Pic. 1) in Phnom Penh bring foods and other offerings to offer to the Buddhist monks at Langka pagoda in Phnom Penh this morning as part of the celebration of the first day of 14-day Kan Ben Festival.
Kan Ben is part of “Pchum Ben” Festival or the Festival for the Dead, one of the biggest religious festivals in Cambodia. “Pchum Ben” falls on the fifteenth day of Kan Ben, which is to celebrate this year on Oct. 9.
