Cambodian PM Expresses Condolences over the Passing Away of Vietnamese President
AKP Phnom Penh, September 21, 2018 —
Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, this afternoon sent a condolence letter to his Vietnamese counterpart over the loss of Vietnamese President H.E. Tran Dai Quang.
“I have greatly been saddened to learn about the passing away of H.E. Mr. Tran Dai Quang, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on Sept. 21, 2018,” wrote the Cambodian Premier in his letter to Vietnamese Prime Minister H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
“The demise of H.E. Mr. Tran Dai Quang is a huge loss of a great and admirable leader of the Country and People of Viet Nam, and a good friend of Cambodia. In this sadness moment, my thoughts and prayers are always with you and all the people of Viet Nam,” he added.
“On behalf of the Royal Government and People of Cambodia, I would like to express my deepest sympathies and condolences to the Government and People of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam as well as the bereaved families for the great loss of their beloved one,” said Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
According to Vietnam News Agency (VNA), H.E. Mr. Tran Dai Quang passed away this morning, at around 10:05 am, in 108 Military Central Hospital in Hanoi at the age of 62 from serious illness.
