Cambodia, China Sign US$80 Million Agreements

AKP Phnom Penh, September 14, 2018 —

Cambodia and China have entered a more than US$80 million investment cooperation, according to the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce.

Agreements were inked yesterday in the Forum on Investment, Business and Tourism during the 15th China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning city, Guangxi province of China.

They looked into the enhancement of bilateral trade, human resource development in tourism, engineering (express railway, hydroelectricity and irrigation infrastructure), airport construction, establishment of university of industrial research and centre.

H.E. Chhuon Dara, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia, was positive about the signed agreements toward mutual benefits and economic development of the two nations and peoples.
