Government Licences Four More Private Companies

Royal Government of Cambodia has granted licences to four more private investment companies to operate in Cambodia.


The update has been shared recently by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), adding that the total investment capital of newly licensed companies is over US$100 million.


Among the licensed companies, continued the source, are services providers, garment producer and manufacturer of plastic-and gasoline-wasted diesel. 


Those firms are Makro (Cambodia) Company Limited located in Siem Reap province, Boonma Heng Co., Ltd in Banteay Meanchey province, Rong Win Garment Co., Ltd. and E1 Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. in Phnom Penh.


The new investments are expected to generate more than 5,000 jobs for the locals.
