AKP Siem Reap, July 20, 2018 —
Kampong Phlouk is an ecotourism community in Tonle Sap Lake established in early 2007. Since its creation, it became an attractive tourist destination in Siem Reap province where tourists can enjoy the true beauty of nature and discover the local people’s lifestyles, custom and tradition. Located in Kampong Phlouk commune, Prasat Bakong district, about 16 kilometres southeast of Siem Reap provincial city, Kampong Phlouk was a former poor community, but nowadays its people’s living standard was much improved, they make a living from tourism and the river’s products.
